http://here.am/post/52606805/there-is-a-humane-meat-movement-afoot-wherein

There is a “humane meat” movement afoot, wherein adherents believe something to the effect that “they are doing meat right” by eating locally raised, grass-fed, non-factory farmed meat. Sure, this practice is better for the animals and the planet than the industrial norm.

But is it right? The above image (connected to a NY Times article about “humane” meats and DIY butchering) is a perfect illustration of the common link between factory farms and so-called “humane” farms: the operating definition of non-human creatures as commodities. Both factory farms and “humane” ones raise fellow animals, then kill them, then sell the bodies and body parts of those they slaughter — all in the name of making some cash.

Is this kind of farming humane? Seeing the way humans behave, then perhaps it is. But is it right? Not a chance.

“Farm to Fridge” by Mercy for Animals – condensed version

This is a 4-minute condensed version of “Farm to Fridge” (www.meatvideo.com), put together by Mercy for Animals (www.mercyforanimals.org) to show at Pay Per View events. It contains footage of standard cruelties in factory farms, egg-laying hen hatcheries, and slaughterhouses. Note that so-called “humane” farms, family farms, and organic farms engage in at least some of these cruelties. For an introduction to vegan recipes, please visit http://www.vegweb.com, which has 15,000 vegan recipes.

The vegan extremists are united with Big Agra in the war against family farms. That’s why Big Agra pays vegan extremists such as Kay7271 to spread disinformation against humane farming, family farming, and organic farming.

The local/organic beef/dairy movement scares the establishment so much that their paid operatives posing as “vegans” attempt to basically discredit the efforts as “Weston Pricer meat industry propaganda”.YES I SAID IT. KAY7271 IS A BIG AGRA OPERATIVE.

CSPI Applauds Shills for USDA’s New Healthy Eating Plate

Statement of Propaganda from CSPI “Nutrition” Policy Director Margo G. Wootan

June 2, 2011

USDA’s new healthy eating graphic is a huge improvement over the inscrutable food pyramid no different from the USDA’s phony Food Pyramid, but we say it’s a huge improvement, therefore it’s a huge improvement, and if you say otherwise, you’re in bed with the junk food industry and CCF.

While no one graphic can communicate every nuance of healthy eating, this easy-to-understand illustration hard-to-decipher clusterfuck will help people remember condition people into thinking what we think their own plate should look like. It likely will shock most people into recognizing that they need to eat a heck of a lot more vegetables and fruits. Most people are eating about a quarter of a plate of fruits or vegetables, not a half a plate as recommended. (Oh, and whole grains are good for you, too. Don’t believe the low-carb troofers who want you to believe that carbs cause obesity. After all, that’s why we had our “opposition” – the Center for Consumer Freedom – co-opt and hijack the low-carb movement so we can discredit the low-carb movement as “industry propaganda”.)

WiselyBy design, USDA is investing in a comprehensive campaign to get the new food plate and key healthy eating messages out to the public. USDA’s simple messages, such as “switch to low-fat milk” – we need to shill for the low-fat agenda so we can shrink your fatty computers called “brains” and turn you into obedient, compliant slaves – and “drink fluoridated water – because fluoride is part of our agenda to turn your brains into mush and turning you into obedient, compliant slaves – instead of sugary drinks (and remember, pure organic cane sugar is just as bad for you as high-fructose corn syrup, and don’t forget that our buddies at Cargill have co-opted the stevia movement with their toxic Truvia and using it to make the sheeple beg for stevia to be banned),” prioritize the 95-page Dietary Guidelines for Americans into key dietary actions official government propaganda that can won’t do diddly-squat to help people avoid heart disease, diabetes, and other nutrition-related health problems. (After all, we’re funded by Big Pharma, so we need to have heart disease, diabetes, and obesity so you dumb schmucks will buy our Big Pharma overlords’ toxic drugs which will make the situation worse.)

And don’t forget, sheeple. Monsanto didn’t write the “food safety” bill. Only “radical bloggers” and “domestic extremists” spread such lies.

Sincerely,

Margo Wootan

“Nutriton” Policy Director
Ministry of Health (to you ignorant rubes, we’re the Center for Science in the Public Interest)

And who was featured in the propaganda piece? Why none other than PETA’s favorite silicone spokes-shill, Pamela Anderson. Pamela, I hope you’re happy that you’re spewing propaganda for cancer-causing naked body scanners.

But the HUGE message of the ad is PETA fully revealing their belief that people who don’t conform to their fascist agenda of “no fur”, “no leather”, “no animal skins”, “no meat”, “no dairy”, “no eggs” are domestic terrorists on par with al-Qaeda.

My message to PETA?

I left the following comment, and I know one thing…it won’t be approved because I expose MeMe Roth and CSPI of being food industry apologists who cover up the effects GMOs, aspartame, and MSG in causing obesity. The Monsanto-shilling CCF can’t allow an infowarrior such as myself to blow the false paradigm wide open and expose the REAL obesity truth.

Processed sugar isn’t good for you…but how can you say that HFCS is nutritionally the same as sugar when HFCS contains mercury? Never heard of mercury being in HFCS. This is propaganda from Monsanto-shilling food industry lobbyists. And instead of calling people such as MeMe Roth and CSPI the “food police”, how about calling them “food industry apologists” when all they do is ignore the evidence of GMOs, aspartame, and MSG causing obesity?

I was looking for images of Iran – you know, the images of the modern sophisticated city of Tehran, the people going about their daily lives – living in one of the most ‘westernized’ cultures in the middle east. So off to Google, to use their ‘image’ search… and look what they bring up when you run the search…

Think Google wants war with Iran much???

This was the first page of results. If you go through the next TEN pages, you will see much the same; including lots of pictures of hangings, a few torture shots, lots of propaganda to be had. Maybe ONE picture of a street in downtown Iran.
They don’t want you to know that normal people like you and me live in Iran. They have families, lives, children, grandmothers, family picnics, movies, music, art – they have everything that we have; including love for each other and love for their country. Hard to find those images… wonder why Google can’t find them.

Google: Bringing you their own version of reality 24/7.

Contrast the search in Google with this search (Iran – then click “Images”) from ixquick.com (Startpage.com)
Note in particular, the pic of the kids on the soccer team.
Nice kids. Iranian kids. Like our kids.

Please note: this is the JANUARY/FEBRUARY Issue of the CFR’s propaganda rag “Foreign Affairs”.
If you still think Eugenics is ‘history’ – read this; it basically outlines their view of the future of the ‘aging’ population in the US; including a suggestion that people over retirement age might want to move to 3rd world countries, to make room (and lessen the ‘burden’ of healthcare) for the 3rd world younger ‘working’ population to take up residence.

And no wonder the feds won’t enforce immigration laws…

It’s because they want we the people to GTFOut of the US.

Can you believe the audacity of this ZioNazi death cult?! I mean for crying out loud, they are basically promoting pro-nekkid body scanner propaganda!

Comment: The establishment is so scared of stevia that they are using their fake-stevia blackops to dupe ignorant sheeple into believing that the fake stevia products – Truvia, PureVia, Sun Crystals, and Stevia in the Raw – are stevia products when it’s known that these products are actually sugar products with just a dash of chemically-extracted Reb-A (a stevia glycoside). It makes me wonder how much money Susan Alexander and the Knoxville News Sentinel received from the sugar industry and the fake-stevia companies to shill for the sugar industry. The sugar industry couldn’t pay for better propaganda.

It was a sweet assignment: Compare the artificial sweeteners that are hitting grocery store shelves these days faster than you can say America’s obese. It’s hard to keep up with the options:

* Ideal, made with Xylitol, has zero calories and measures cup for cup like sugar.

* Stevia Extract In the Raw comes from the stevia plant, has zero calories and measures cup for cup like sugar.

* Sun Crystals, a blend of sugar and stevia, has 20 calories per teaspoon. Use half the Sun Crystals that you would sugar.

* I decided Splenda, though not a new kid on the block, was worth including just for comparison’s sake. It has zero calories, is made of sucralose and maltodextrin (an ingredient that was also listed for Stevia and Ideal.) It suggests measuring cup for cup.

With the help of food writer Mary Constantine, I located a corn muffin recipe that made only four muffins, and then I made the recipe five times. Once, I made it with sugar (which, for comparison’s sake, has 15 calories per teaspoon). Then I subbed out the sugar for each of the sweeteners listed above.

Janet Seiber, registered dietician at UT Medical Center, didn’t know of any major health concerns with any of the products we tested. Stevia, she says, is not yet FDA approved, but it is widely used as a sweetener in other countries. Xylitol, she said, may have gastrointestinal side effects for some people.

I brought the muffins to the News Sentinel and set five of my co-workers to the tasting task. They didn’t know which sweetener was used in which muffin, and they didn’t sugarcoat their reactions, which are below – and on video at knoxnews.com.

Susan Alexander may be reached at alexanders@knoxnews.com or 865-342-6431. She is the News Sentinel features editor.
