The improvements that McDonald’s has announced for its Happy Meals are an important step in the right direction. It’s good news that those meals will all have apple slices, smaller servings of fries, and fewer calories. While we wish that Happy Meals would include a bigger serving of fresh fruit or vegetable, including even a small serving—and without a sugary sauce—as a standard component is a real advance.
McDonald’s clearly has a lot more to do, for both kids and adults. But this move is a sign that the company recognizes that parents don’t want burgers, fries, and soda to be the default fast-food experience. And, surely, McDonald’s recognizes that policy makers are becoming increasingly interested in ensuring that healthier foods are marketed to children.
# # #
The Center for Science in the Public Interest has pressed McDonald’s and other companies to stop using trans fat (***COMMENT: You were the ones who bullied the fast food companies into switching TO trans fats, criminals!!!!!!!***), reduce sodium levels (***as ordered by your Rockefeller overlords to carry out their depopulation agenda, ZioNazi scum***), and provide more-healthful options (***GMOs are healthy? BULL-F*CKING-SHIT!***). In a lawsuit filed last year, CSPI represents a parent concerned about McDonald’s use of toys to attract children to its Happy Meals. (***Yet you allow a MCDONALD’S FRONT GROUP – the AMERICAN DIETETIC ASSOCIATION – to dictate OFFICIAL nutrition policy on your NATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR NUTRITION AND ACTIVITY, you frauds!***)
HUGE smoking gun I just found. Dr. Cynthia Goody (McDonald’s Director of Nutrition) and Julia Braun (McDonald’s U.S. Nutrition and Labeling Manager) are members of the American Dietetic Association! The ADA is a 100% McDonald’s front group! CSPI’s NANA Coalition has a McDonald’s front group as a member while CSPI complains about Happy Meal toys! CSPI and the NANA Coalition are FRAUDS!
“We must test animals to determine whether a substance causes cancer,” said Michael F. Jacobson, executive director of the Center for Science in the Public Interest and co-author of the paper. “Given the prevalence of so many chemicals in our cupboards, our workplaces, and in the environment at large, government regulatory agencies must change the way they do business and require companies to conduct animal tests from before birth to near the end of their natural lifetimes. Needless to say, chemical manufacturers prefer tests that are less expensive and less likely to find problems,” said Jacobson.
Yes. CSPI kills animals, and Michael Jacobson is a murderer of the worst kind.
The organic movement has been co-opted by Monsanto. What was once a legitimate grassroots movement has been co-opted by the very interests they were against. Remember how the Republican Party hijacked a certain legitimate grassroots movement called the Tea Party which was full of Democrats, Republicans, and Libertarians who were disgusted with the Bushbama regime. Now the “Tea Party” is nothing but a Republican shill movement co-opted by the Republican Party. So is the same with the organic movement.
The Organic Consumers Organization is funded by the Rockefellers, who have been pushing the GMO agenda for years.
CSPI is funded by the Rockefellers and aligned with several Monsanto front groups.
Whole Foods Market, Stonyfield Farms, and Organic Valley have sold out to the Monsanto agenda.
Hell, even Food Inc has been co-opted by Monsanto and is promoting anti-”Weston Price” propaganda.
(NaturalNews) Organic Spies made news by releasing information on the financial interests and campaign contributions of the companies that are represented on the OTA board, but the underlying story of Food Inc.’s efforts to co-opt and water down organic, while protecting their interest in industrial agriculture’s GMOs and factory farms, goes back to very start of the National Organic Program.
(This article is written by Alexis Baden-Mayer, Esq., Political Director
Organic Consumers Association, June 9, 2011. A shortdocumentaryby Organic Spies details the corrupting influence of large multinationalfood companiesat the Organic Trade Association (OTA). Please watch the movie and take action herehttp://capwiz.com/grassrootsnetroot…)
A case in point is Oregon’s Measure 27 (2002), the first ballot initiative effort to require foodcompaniesto label products that contain genetically modifiedingredients. The Organic Trade Association ostensibly supported the measure, but didn’t chip in financially.
Thefoodand crop-biotechnology industries raised a war chest to fight the ballot measure. Ironically, some of these companies already had stakes inorganicand some had subsidiaries that were members of OTA.
General Mills (currently represented on the OTA board by Craig Weakly of Small Planet Foods), H.J. Heinz Co. (invested in the Hain-Celestial Group), PepsiCo (Tropicana and Quaker produce a feworganic products), and Kellogg’s (owns Kashi), joined a coalition of corporate giants – the “Coalition Against the Costly Labeling Law” – including chemical makersMonsantoand DuPont, agribusiness ConAgra, food processor Sara Lee, thepesticidelobbying group CropLife and the junk food lobbying group the Grocery Manufacturers Association, in spending some $5.5 million to defeatmandatoryGMO labels.
By contrast, the pro-label group, Oregon Concerned Citizens for Safe Foods, raised only about $100,000 in cash, loans and in-kind contributions and had already spent about $72,000 to collect signatures, when Food Inc. rolled in with $5.5 million to spend onadvertising. The Safe Foods group’s largest contributor was Mel Bankoff, founder of Emerald Valley Kitchen Inc., a Eugene, ORorganic foodcompany, who gave $47,500, most of it in loans, state records show. The second largest donor was the Organic Consumers Association.
In 2005, the same companies that worked through the Grocery Manufacturers Association to defeat the OregonGMOTruth-In-Labeling ballot measure worked through the OTA to execute a sneak attack onorganic standards. As Melanie Warner of the New York Times reported:http://www.nytimes.com/2005/11/01/b…
Senate and House Republicans on the Agriculture appropriations subcommittee inserted a last-minute provision into the department’s fiscal 2006budgetspecifying that certain artificial ingredients could be used in organic food.
The Organic Trade Association, an industry lobbying group that proposed the amendment and spent several months pushing for its adoption, says that the measure will encourage the continued growth of organic food.
Some advocacy groups, however, say the amendment will weaken federal organic food standards, first established under a 1990 law. Ronnie Cummins, national director of the Organic Consumers Association, calls the initiative a “sneak attack engineered by the likes of Kraft,Dean Foodsand Smucker’s.”
One of the lobbyists for Altria, Kraft’s majority owner, Abigail Blunt – the wife of Representative Roy Blunt, Republican of Missouri, who recently became interim House majority leader after Tom DeLay of Texas resigned from the post – has been working on the issue, the company says.
Dean Foods’ subsidiary Horizon Organic and the J.M. Smucker Company, the owner of Knudsen and Santa Cruz Organic juices [Dean & Smucker are currently represented on the OTA board by board president Julia Sabin, VP, Smucker Natural Foods, Inc., and Kelly Shea, VP, WhiteWave Foods], said they supported the work by the Organic Trade Association, which represents both large and small companies in thebusiness, but did no lobbying on their own.
In 2009, the same companies that worked to defeat GMOlabelsand weaken organic standards were at it again, slipping synthetic ingredients into organicproductsand stripping well-known organic brands of organic ingredients. As Lyndsey Layton reported in the Washington Post:
Organic advocates and food marketing experts said the introduction this month of new “natural” products by an organics division of Dean Foods is the latest sign that the value ofthe USDAlabel has eroded. The yogurt and milk products will be distributed under the Horizon label and marketed as a lower-priced alternative to organic products.
Congress adopted the organics law after farmers andconsumersdemanded uniform standards for produce, dairyand meat. The law banned synthetics, pesticidesand genetic engineering fromfoodsthat would bear a federal organic label. It also required annual testing for pesticides. And it was aimed at preventing producers from falsely claiming their foods were organic.
TheUSDAcreated the National Organic Program in 2002 to implement the law. By then, major food companies had bought up most small, independent organic companies.KraftFoods, for example, owns Boca Foods. Kellogg owns Morningstar Farms, and Coca-Cola owns 40 percent of Honest Tea, maker of the organic beverage favored by President Obama. …
The Organic Trade Association, which represents corporations such as Kraft, Dole and Dean Foods, lobbied for and received language in a 2006 appropriations bill allowing certain synthetic food substances in the preparation, processing and packaging of organic foods, creating conditions for a flood of processed organic foods.
The influence of non-organic corporate interests at the OTA explains why it has consistently worked for lowest-common-denominator organic standards.
It also explains why, by 2008, organic food sales accounted for approximately 3.5 percent of all food product sales in the United States, but the percentage of U.S. organic production has remained low, at 0.7 percent of U.S. cropland and 0.5 percent of U.S. pasture, and the US organic market is reliant on imports from countries like China where the rules are more difficult to enforce.
It’s time the OTA was led by organic companies whose real stake is in U.S. organicagriculture. The OTA should adopt rules that reserve a majority of slots on the Board for 100% organic companies andfarmerswithout conflicts of interest.
Once the OTA has stronger organic leadership, it will be able to advocate for stronger policies to strengthen organic standards, increase domestic organic production and protect organic from genetic contamination.
OTA has a 2003 policy statementhttp://www.ota.com/pp/regulatory/GE…insupportof a moratorium on genetically modified organisms in agriculture and for mandatory GMO labels, and OTA staff members have been active participants in anti-GMO efforts.
But, it’s clear that OTA member companies owned by Food, Inc., including those on the OTA board, haven’t put theirmoneywhere OTA’s mouth is on the GE issue.
Mandatory GMO labels is the only viable strategy to deprive Monsanto of market share and reduce the risk that our organic seed stocks will be permanently contaminated with Monsanto’s modified DNA.
Unfortunately, in our corporate-controlled pay-to-play system, passing mandatory GMO labeling laws inCongress, state legislatures, or through ballot measures takes money. As the Organic Spies documentary points out, OTA’s Food Inc. members spend plenty of money on politics. The trouble is, it’s going to politicians and lobbying groups that support approval of newGMOsand oppose mandatory GMO labels.
The only way for OTA to become truly effective is to demand of all of its members to invest in thecampaignfor mandatory GMO labels.
Silk spent $29.1 million to advertise in major media in 2009.
Horizon Organic’s advertising budget totaled $10.9 million in 2007, $9.3 million in 2008, $9.5 million in 2009 and $10.2 million last year.
They could also start leading by example. What if the OTA required all member companies to adopt voluntary GMO labels?
Smucker’s, which sells 6 flavors of organic preserves and two flavors of organicpeanut butter, would have to label their non-organic ice cream toppings, jams, butters, waffles, syrups and pastries, as “made with GMO high fructosecorn syrup,” “GMO trans fats,” and “GMO sugar.” The same would go for their Adams, Laura Scudder’s and Dickenson’s brands, which sell organic peanut butter and jams, but also sell varieties made with GMO hydrogenated vegetable oils and highfructosecorn syrup.
Dean Foods would have to reveal to consumers which brands of its milk were produced with the use of GMObovine growth hormone. A few of their milk brands are produced without artificial growth hormones (Alta Dena, Barber’s Dairy, Berkeley Farms, Brown’s Dairy, Creamland Dairy, Country Fresh, Gandy’s, Garelick, Horizon, Dean’s, Oak Farms Dairy, Organic Cow, Land O’ Lakes, Lehigh Valley, Mayfield, McArthur, Meadow Brook, Meadow Gold, PET, Schepps, Swiss, T.G. Lee, and Tuscan), but they don’t make that claim for Broughton Dairy, Friendship Dairy, Louis Trauth Dairy, Price’s, Purity, Reiter, Robinson, or Shendandoah’s Pride. The latter brands would have to be labeled “from cows injected with genetically engineered bovine growth hormones,” and all of their non-organic brands would have to admit coming from “cows raised on feed made with GMO soy, corn, cottonseed and alfalfa.” Dean Food’s International Delight Non-Dairy Creamer would have to label its GMO corn syrup.
Statement of Propaganda from CSPI “Nutrition” Policy Director Margo G. Wootan
June 2, 2011
USDA’s new healthy eating graphic is a huge improvement over the inscrutable food pyramidno different from the USDA’s phony Food Pyramid, but we say it’s a huge improvement, therefore it’s a huge improvement, and if you say otherwise, you’re in bed with the junk food industry and CCF.
While no one graphic can communicate every nuance of healthy eating, this easy-to-understand illustrationhard-to-decipher clusterfuck will help people remembercondition people into thinking what we think their own plate should look like. It likely will shock most people into recognizing that they need to eat a heck of a lot more vegetables and fruits. Most people are eating about a quarter of a plate of fruits or vegetables, not a half a plate as recommended. (Oh, and whole grains are good for you, too. Don’t believe the low-carb troofers who want you to believe that carbs cause obesity. After all, that’s why we had our “opposition” – the Center for Consumer Freedom – co-opt and hijack the low-carb movement so we can discredit the low-carb movement as “industry propaganda”.)
WiselyBy design, USDA is investing in a comprehensive campaign to get the new food plate and key healthy eating messages out to the public. USDA’s simple messages, such as “switch to low-fat milk” – we need to shill for the low-fat agenda so we can shrink your fatty computers called “brains” and turn you into obedient, compliant slaves – and “drink fluoridated water – because fluoride is part of our agenda to turn your brains into mush and turning you into obedient, compliant slaves – instead of sugary drinks (and remember, pure organic cane sugar is just as bad for you as high-fructose corn syrup, and don’t forget that our buddies at Cargill have co-opted the stevia movement with their toxic Truvia and using it to make the sheeple beg for stevia to be banned),” prioritize the 95-page Dietary Guidelines for Americans into key dietary actions official government propaganda that canwon’t do diddly-squat to help people avoid heart disease, diabetes, and other nutrition-related health problems. (After all, we’re funded by Big Pharma, so we need to have heart disease, diabetes, and obesity so you dumb schmucks will buy our Big Pharma overlords’ toxic drugs which will make the situation worse.)
In this article, the Center for Consumer Freedom pushes what we have known for years: that diets high in carbs contribute to obesity.
This is a calculated effort by CCF to hijack a LEGITIMATE movement – the low-carb movement – in order to discredit it among the anti-CCF crowd such as PETA supporters and CSPI supporters.
Notice how CDLver routinely dodges my comments about the Center for Consumer Freedom’s demonization of raw milk advocates such as Dr. Mercola. In fact, I got CDLver to shill for CSPI, the most prominent Monsanto front group not only in the United States, but throughout the world. CDLver uses baseless, tiresome accusations against me because I expose how PETA and CCF are both Rockefeller front groups and that the “PETA vs. CCF” feud is a fraudulent sham and hold as much merit as any staged feud in the WWE. CDLver is clearly a Monsanto agent using COINTELPRO tactics to prop up the fake “PETA/CCF” paradigm.
On another video, I got CDLver to spew the government’s “official story” on raw milk.
Whole Foods stopped selling raw goat and cow milk because it is risky business. WFM does not want to be held liable by customers made sick by contaminated raw animal milk. Period. No conspriacy theory there.
Raw milk is easily infected with E. coli O157:NM (no antibiotics used in raw organic animal milk to kill the bacteria) which can and has resulted in renal failure.
But you go ahead, drink all the raw animal milk that your kidneys can stand.
Well guess who else has an anti-raw milk agenda? The Center for Consumer Freedom, CDLver’s supposed “opposition”. When it comes to raw milk, CDLver and the CCF truly are atrange bedfellows.
Another COINTEL tactic that CDLver uses is – and I’m paraphrasing here – “you’re an animal hater if you believe PETA kills animals.” This is the exact same tactic used by government shills such as Rush Limbaugh (“You’re with al-Qaeda if you’re against war.”) and Troyfromwestvirginia (paraphrasing: “You’re an America hater if you believe 9/11 is an inside jobby job.”).
Mr. Taylor started his career in 1976 as an F.D.A. staff lawyer and over the next three decades migrated among government, industry and academia. He returned to the F.D.A. in 1991 as deputy commissioner for policy and moved in 1994 to head the Department of Agriculture’s meat inspection service.
Since July, he has served as a senior adviser to Commissioner Margaret Hamburg of the F.D.A. He once worked for Monsanto, the agribusiness giant, leading some in the organic movement to oppose his appointment.
Mr. Taylor is popular among many food-safety and nutrition advocates, who call him intelligent and courageous. But he stumbled in his first major policy initiative since returning to the agency in July, and his considerable experience may have been his undoing.
……..
At a food-safety conference in Washington last year, Dr. Michael Jacobson, executive director of the Center for Science in the Public Interest, stood in the hallway and debated Mr. Taylor’s qualities with Russell Libby, the executive director of the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association. “He’s extremely knowledgeable and public-health oriented,” Dr. Jacobson said in a later interview.

Farm Wars
Our food supply is in jeopardy. Not only from outside forces such as poisons from China, but from within. The very people that we look to for guidance seem to be working together to lead us straight into global food governance in the form of Codex Alimentarius. This is especially alarming when you consider that the very organizations such as the USDA and FDA, that are charged with the safeguarding and regulation of our food supply are at the forefront of the battle, leading us straight into worldwide genocide using food as a weapon.
But the USDA and FDA do not stand alone. There are others who consider food to be “fair game” in this war against the people, and they just happen to control some very large purse strings. So, who holds the purse strings behind the push to obliterate any food safeguards we may have? Let’s just pick two – Rockefeller and Merck, then take a closer look at a few of the “trusted” organizations that they fund.
The Purse Strings
Rockefeller
Let’s take a look at just a part of what the Rockefeller crime family is involved in concerning our food supply.
Today, the Rockefellers use coercive population control tactics and food as a weapon through a front organization, CGIAR (Consultative Group on Agricultural Resources) as the Rockefellers are trying to distance themselves from public- just like the Rothschild clan has done. Engdahl reports that CGIAR operates under the umbrella of the UN World Bank, and its primary focus is the spread of GMO crops. CGIAR was created by the Rockefellers and the Ford Foundation, along with the UN World Bank in 1971 with $350 million dollars a year in funding. (MorphCity)
Financed by generous Rockefeller and Ford Foundation study grants, CGIAR saw to it that leading Third World agriculture scientists and agronomists were brought to the US to master the concepts of modern agribusiness production, in order to carry it back to their homeland. In the process they created an invaluable network of influence for US agribusiness promotion in those countries, most especially promotion of the GMO Gene Revolution in developing countries, all in the name of science and efficient, free market agriculture.(InformationLiberation)
The Rockefeller Foundation spent more than $100 million for the advance of the GMO revolution. (Engdahl – Seeds of Destruction)
Part of the Rockefeller dynasty includes a group known as Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors:
Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that advises donors in their philanthropic endeavors throughout the world. The foundation is headquartered in New York City and adheres to John D. Rockefeller Sr.’s practice of managing philanthropy “as if it were a business.”[1] Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors currently advises on and manages more than $200 million in annual giving in more than 60 countries.[2] (Wikipedia)
Philanthropy can be used by business to advance a corporate image that is acceptable to certain groups of people in order to put up a benevolent facade while all the time conducting business as usual, which may or may not be so benevolent.
CSPI will soon announce Food Day to be held on October 24, 2011. Similar to Earth Day, Food Day will celebrate healthy, affordable food grown in a humane, sustainable manner. By organizing thousands of events nationwide, Food Day will push for policy changes at the state, local, and national levels. Our friends at Fearless Cottage are hosting a contest to come up with a dynamic logo. Entries are due by January 22.
Doesn’t surprise me to see a Monsanto front group – CSPI – pushing a “Food Day”. After all, Earth Day was created by the global elite as fake “environmental awareness”.
Earth Day: Hundreds of millions of dollars went into “Earth Day” 1970, a vast public relations stunt to get the “green movement,” earlier prepared by the WWF and allied agencies, off the ground. Earth Day was bankrolled by the UN, Atlantic Richfield, and the Ford and Rockefeller foundations; it was directed by the British intelligence-sponsored Aspen Institute of Humanistic Studies.
Indeed World Food Day IS a Rockefeller/Monsanto operation! Check out every Rockefeller/Monsanto front group listed on here!

Back in October, I predicted that the COINTELPRO website Nanny State Liberation Front would be used to fuel a false-flag terrorist attack against nanny state activists. As many of you know, there was a shooting spree at a Safeway in Arizona where people – including a federal judge – were killed. Now word comes about of a “Safeway Amendment” to ObamaCare which allows Safeway to force all of its employees to undergo screening for everything from blood pressure to cholesterol to weight and to impose higher insurance premiums on employees who have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and obesity.
Who have been harping for years that high cholesterol and obesity lead to heart disease? The nanny state.
Judge John M. Roll and Gabrille Giffords were not the intended targets of the disturbed shooter. The target was Safeway due to its new nanny state policy concerning healthcare “reform”.
It is clear that the shooter took the Nanny State Liberation Front’s “raised fist = anarchy” logo seriously and used that as his excuse to violently lash out against the nanny state. This was a false-flag terrorist attack against the nanny state. The shooter was influenced by a COINTELPRO website, a fake Monsanto-shilling “anti-nanny state” website set up by the Military-Industrial Complex to incite violence which would be used as an excuse to go after TRUE anti-nanny staters who have ZERO corporate backing.
MARK MY WORDS. The corporate media will attempt to link the shooter to other fake “anti-nanny state” groups such as the Center for Consumer Freedom (a Monsanto front), the American Council on Science and Health (a Monsanto front), and Junkscience.com (a Monsanto front). After that, neoliberal propagandists such as Daily Kos and Huffington Post will use those connections to launch a propaganda assault on TRUE anti-nanny staters such as Alex Jones, Kevin Trudeau, and me.
I told you back in October that I have never condoned and never WILL condone any physical confrontations with nanny state activists such as CSPI (or any CSPI member such as Michael Jacobson) or MeMe Roth. I stand by that statement now, and I will continue to stand by that statement. Any person who launches a physical confrontation against Jacobson or Roth is NOT a true anti-nanny stater – they are a government agent or a MKULTRA subject programmed to carry out such an attack.
